Kay Parker was reportedly introduced to the adult film industry during the late 1970s by porn actor John Leslie, who suggested Kay to take part in one of Leslie’s upcoming films at that time. Upon hearing that the film in question was a pornographic movie, Kay reportedly declined the initial offer. However, she eventually was eased into the industry by playing bit parts in non-sexual roles, until porn director Anthony Spinelli talked Kay into doing her first sex scene in the film, Sex World.
